What is PRA™ Training?

Our programs provide real estate assistants with the knowledge, expertise and tools to work for a wide-range of real estate professionals. PRA™ courses provide up-to-date information, practical skills and indispensible data including privacy compliance, the competition act, the real estate services act, Fintrac and standard forms.

Who should enroll in PRA™ Training?

Aspiring PRAs: anyone who is interested in the real estate profession. Current PRAs: active assistants who want to brush-up or advance their skill base. New hires: a great candidate an employer wants trained.

How much time do students spend on the Foundations course?

Classes are held for six days during a two-week period. They are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. However, in between classes, students will complete homework assignments.

What do students receive at the end of the course?

Students who graduate from the PRA™ Training program will receive a PRA™ Foundations Certificate of Completion. The Foundations course requires students to complete an exam with a 75% minimum pass grade. Qualifications are also based on full and punctual attendance, completion of all assignments, and class participation.

Are textbooks and materials provided?

Textbooks/reference manuals are provided to students. Students will be responsible to obtain their own photocopies and personal supplies.

Professional real estate assistants will reduce your liability and get you back to doing the things you do best, like talking to prospective clients, building networks, delivering presentations, and maintaining client relationships.

Professional real estate assistants are in demand, reduce liability for the REALTOR® and support them to do what they do best, like talking to prospective clients, building networks, and maintaining client relationships. A trained assistant is an asset.

What is the curriculum?

PRA™ Training program teaches our candidates everything they need to know to succeed right away:

  • the foundation of real estate success;
  • the day to day systems, forms and files;
  • the fundamentals of real estate marketing;
  • the best way to effectively manage the listing process;
  • the dynamics of working with buyers;
  • the completion and possession procedure; and
  • the legislation and regulation that applies to both the PRA and the licensee.

When can I enroll into the training?
