PRA Training founder Nina Campbell, REALTOR® in Vancouver BC for 16 years created this company. "I was frustrated to see that the legal society is depended on trained personnel, as is the medical and dental society. We as a Real Estate Profession are the only Professional industry that does not have or require trained support staff. As well, there are no real estate specific means for us to advertise for skilled support or for candidates to promote themselves to us."…… And so PRA™ Training was born.
After two years of refining the training material and making sure that the content was in alignment with our industry requirements, our first course launched at SFU downtown campus October 16, 2009.
The outcome was better than we could have ever hoped for. REALTORS® as far as Ontario were contacting us to bring our course to them. Students as far as Saskatchewan came out to be part of our launch.
Who is enrolling in the training?
- A variety of keeners!
- Assistants sent by REALTORS® who don’t have the time or patience to train and who understand that their time is more profitable being with buyers and sellers.
- Assistants frustrated in their job from the lack of knowledge and training received and want to take their own business to another level.
- Some come to us because they have always had a love for Real Estate and before plunging to become licensed, are stepping into it gradually.
- Others yet, see the opportunity to become an entrepreneur, virtual assistant and consultant.
- The age group has been 20 to 56 and we are proud to say we have trained both male and female.
PRA™ Training offers Foundational (beginners) and advanced programs, a unique job board specifically for the real estate industry, and job placement assistance for our grads to our real estate professionals.
We have created a growing community where our assistants have the opportunity to grow, network, support and be supported.
